Following a headline slot at this year’s Download Festival, Thirty Seconds To Mars have announced their biggest UK arena tour which includes a gig at The NIA on Wednesday 1 December.

Thirty Seconds To Mars are set to release new single Closer To The Edge this July. The single is co-produced by Flood (U2, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails), Steve Lillywhite (The Rolling Stones, Talking Heads, Peter Gabriel) and Thirty Seconds To Mars. The uplifting Closer To The Edge is led by Jared Leto’s soaring vocals and backed with an undercurrent of electronic flourishes.

Taken from the global hit album This Is War, Closer To The Edge features backing vocals courtesy of the band’s fan community The Echelon, who contributed to the album’s recording during sessions in nine different countries stretching from America to Australia.

Formed by brothers Jared and Shannon Leto and completed by Tomo Milicevic, Thirty Seconds To Mars have won numerous awards and accolades, including an MTV Video Music Award, three MTV EMAs, an MTV Latin and Asia Award, a Fuse Award and three Kerrang! Awards.
