Since Oasis split back in 2009, fans have been awaiting the return of Noel Gallagher and they shall have to wait no more as he’s heading to the NIA next March with his solo moniker, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

The Manchester band will roll into the NIA in early 2012 as part of a seven date tour that will visit cities across the UK and Ireland, supported by indie pop band Reverend and the Makers.

The show will feature songs from the band’s debut album, including ‘The Death of You and Me’, ‘If I Had A Gun’ and ‘AKA… What a Life’, which made its debut in a recent Vauxhall TV ad. The band will also be augmented by a three-piece brass section and the choirs Crouch End Festival Chorus and Hertfordshire Chorus.

As well as the new material, Noel will also perform some of his best-known classics, giving fans a rare treat following the Oasis split. This promises to be one of the biggest shows of 2012, marking a welcomed return from the man behind hits like ‘Wonderwall’, ‘She’s Electric’ and ‘Some Might Say’.
