She’s a big hit on BBC One and now Mrs Brown is set to make a welcomed return to the NIA next September.
Straight from her BAFTA nomination and success of ‘Good Mourning Mrs Brown, she will be coming to the arena from 5-8 September with ‘Mrs Brown Rides Again’. This time round, you’ll see Agnes Brown – who is played by Brendan O’Carroll – enjoy what seems to be her last days at home. After hearing a plot, by her children, to have her put into a home, Agnes decides to prove them wrong by displaying a new lease of life. However, this is not going to be as easy as it seems; along the way she has to deal with a psychiatrist trying to put her in her place, her son’s gay partner who wants to give birth, her neighbour’s wait for a heart bypass and, worst of all, a family secret that everyone seems to know except her.
If you want a night of guaranteed, belly-laughing fun then this is for you!
