Brit band Kasabian are back and will be heading to the NIA, Birmingham on 6 December, as part of their upcoming tour.
Guitarist Sergio Pizzorno, singer Tom Meighan, bassist Chris Edwards and drummer Ian Matthews will wow fans with tracks from their new album ‘Velociraptor’, which is out on 19 September. New songs ‘Switchblade Smiles’ and ‘Days Are Forgotten’ are already racking up YouTube hits and the December tour is your chance to see the band in action. As well as their new material, the band are likely to perform some of the hits that have helped them become household names.
The Leicestershire four-piece are firm favourites on the festival circuit and now that festival season is over, you get the chance to see them live on stage in the comfort of the NIA.
Kasabian can already boast three successful albums, as well as chart hits like Club Foot, Processed Beats and Shoot The Runner. In addition to a number of award-wins including ‘Best British Group at the 2010 BRIT Awards; ‘Best Album’ for West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum and ‘Best Act In The World Today’ at the Q Awards; ‘Best Live Band’, ‘Best Album’ and ‘Best Album Artwork’ at the NME Awards and ‘Song of the Year’ for Fire at last year’s MOBO Awards.
