The 44-year-old comedian announced two extra dates just a week after tickets initially went on sale and the Birmingham city centre venue will now welcome him for three days of shows. The extra dates mean he will be bringing his dry wit and Northern humour to even more fans, after playing the LG Arena earlier this year.
On his last tour John played to over 400,000 fans and topped the charts with the fastest selling stand-up DVD of all time. He has been regularly broadcasting into the homes of over 6.5m viewers in his own primetime BBC One show (John Bishop's Britain) as well as starring in A League of Their Own (Sky1) but the public clearly haven't seen enough of him yet. Due to overwhelming popular demand, this 'Comedy Superstar' (Telegraph) embarks on this brand new set of dates and makes the official announcement that, despite everything, he is not quite ready for a holiday... just yet.
