Dancing on Ice has been wowing TV fans again this year and April will see some of the skating celebrities take to the ice at the NIA. The tour, which has been extremely popular with fans has now had an extra show added on 29 April to meet demand.

As the television series has come to an end, favourite Matthew Wolfenden was indeed crowned the 2012 champion. Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe in Emmerdale, will be performing at the show and will be joined by fellow finalist Jorgie Porter (best known for playing Theresa McQueen in Hollyoaks) and former X Factor contestant Chico on the ice as part of the tour.

Also set to show off their skills are British skiing champion Chemmy Alcott, Britain’s number one skier for a record seven years, actress Jennifer Ellison, Coronation Street’s Andy Whyment (Kirk Sutherland), Sugababes singer Heidi Range and reigning Dancing On Ice champion Sam Attwater. The celebrities will all be trained and choreographed by Torvill & Dean, who will also perform exclusive routines whilst at the NIA.

During each performance, you will get to vote for your favourite skater, via text message, with the audience and judges scores added together to see a winner crowned. This year’s show is sure to see some show-stopping performances so make sure that you’re part of the action.
