Diversity and the Britain’s Got Talent finalists will perform alongside George Sampson on the ‘Britain’s Got Talent Live Tour’ 2009!*

Following Saturday's nail-biting final, dance troupe Diversity were voted by the British public as the winners of Britain’s Got Talent 2009. Diversity will now headline the Britain’s Got Talent Live UK Tour, which starts at The NIA, Birmingham on Friday 12 June.

Tickets go on sale today for the third Birmingham date, Friday 3rd July.

Diversity, a 10-piece street dance troupe from Essex, consisting of three groups of brothers and their friends aged from 12-25 years old, stormed the final, watched by over 19 million people, with their show stopping routine of slick street dance moves and exciting acrobatics. Troupe leader Ashley Banjo, 20 was praised by the judges for his innovative choreography which moved viewers to vote in their millions.

Plus last year’s winner, George Sampson, will join as a special guest!  Since winning the show in 2008, George has become a household name, had a no.1 hit DVD, fronted national advertising campaigns, headlined the West End show ‘Into The Hoods’, is set to appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show and has had two film offers to start shooting in 2009.

The arena tour, which will travel across the UK until the end of June, will be hosted for the second year running by ITV2’s ‘Britain’s Got More Talent’ presenter Stephen Mulhern.
