The biggest event in British basketball is returning to Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena (NIA) as the British Basketball League (BBL) Championship Playoff Final takes place on Saturday 12th May 2012.

Tickets are now on sale for an event that sees the two best teams & all the best players in British basketball, along with 6,000 hoops fans, converge on the NIA for an unforgettable event.

The BBL Championship Playoff Final is the culmination of the British Basketball League Championship season, and the pinnacle of many a player’s career. After a 30-game regular season, the top eight teams in the country progress to the BBL Championship Playoff quarter-finals. Those that are successful progress to the semi final round with the two semi final winners heading to the NIA for the big finale in a contest that will crown the 2012 BBL Playoff Champions.

As the pre-cursor to the main event, we are delighted also to be staging men’s international basketball for the first time at this event, as England take on Scotland for bragging rights in the home nations. Add in to the mix the incredible ‘BBL Babes Cheerleaders’ and FOXY our dunking mascot and you have an event that will live in the memory for ever!
