The City of Birmingham and the National Indoor Arena has a proud sporting heritage and a reputation for staging high quality events, having staged more World and European Championships than any other City.

The National Indoor Arena is unique in that it was purpose-built for sport, providing excellent facilities which include competitors’ and officials’ changing rooms, medical/physiotherapy centre, sauna, a doping control centre, dining room and administration offices for competitors and officials, all of which are exclusive to the organiser and away from public areas.   In addition there is a substantial practice hall underneath the arena, which can be utilised as a warm up/training facility for sporting events.
